Install Baza on Android with the APK
Baza is already available as a web app at app.baza.fr. While we wait for publication on Google Play, we offer an official Android test APK, not listed publicly anywhere else, for members who want to install the app directly.
This page explains the download, the installation permission and the first launch, step by step. Baza remains a service strictly reserved for adults aged 18 and over.
Download the official APK
Download the file from your Android phone, ideally with Chrome. The file carries the .apk extension: this is the Android installation format.
If your browser shows a warning, only choose to keep the file if the address really starts with https://baza.fr/telechargements/. Never install a Baza APK received by private message or from another website.
- Test version: 1.9.41-twa-test. Size: 750 KB (768131 bytes). SHA-256 checksum: 1367e196d3738aa791fe18f99ee115ca4f31be93d68cf5c1d11176946bcdedd0.
- Android permission requested: internet access only. Test signature (standard Android debug key, CN=Android Debug) — not signed for Google Play.
- This APK opens the official Baza app hosted on app.baza.fr.
Step 1 — Start the download
Tap the download button above. Depending on your phone, the file may appear at the bottom of Chrome, in the notification panel, or in the Files / Downloads app.
If the download does not start, press and hold the button, then choose “Download link”, “Save link” or “Download file”.
Step 2 — Allow the installation
Android protects your phone: the first time, it may ask you to allow installation from Chrome or from your file manager. This is normal for an APK installed outside Google Play.
Approve it for this installation only, then go back to the APK file and tap “Install”. Once it is installed, you can turn this permission off again in your Android settings.
- Google Pixel / stock Android: Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps → Chrome.
- Samsung Galaxy: Settings → Apps → Special access → Install unknown apps → Chrome or My Files.
- Xiaomi / Redmi: Settings → Privacy protection or Apps → Install unknown apps → Chrome.
- Oppo / OnePlus / Realme: Settings → Security or Apps → Install unknown apps → Chrome.
Step 3 — Open Baza and accept the useful permissions
Open Baza from the installed icon. Sign in or create your account, then accept notifications and location when the app offers them.
These permissions cannot be turned on automatically by Baza: Android always asks for your agreement. Notifications are used for new messages. Location makes it possible to show nearby profiles, without ever revealing your address or your exact coordinates.
Quick examples by phone
On Samsung: open the file from “My Files” or from the download notification, allow “My Files” if Android asks for it, then install.
On Google Pixel: open the download in Chrome, tap “Settings” if Android blocks it, allow Chrome for this installation, then go back and install.
On Xiaomi / Redmi: if MIUI runs a security scan, wait until it finishes, check that the file really comes from baza.fr, then confirm the installation.
Why an APK before Google Play?
The APK makes it possible to test the Android app before it is published on Google Play. It will be replaced by a store installation as soon as the Google Play listing is approved.
In the meantime, keep only the official Baza link and avoid sharing the APK file directly: share this page instead, which contains the explanations and the precautions.
Ready to meet people near you?
Baza is a web app: nothing to download from a store, and an account takes a few minutes to create. Your exact location is never shown and your conversations stay private.
