Account deletion

Principle
You can delete your account at any time, directly from the application, without justification and with no notice period.
What is erased immediately
Deleting the account causes the immediate erasure of:
- your account and the associated phone number;
- your profile (nickname, presentation, practices, preferences);
- your profile photo (file included);
- your position and your location consent;
- all your conversations — messages AND exchanged photos (files included);
- your group messages and your group memberships (files included);
- your private albums and the photos they contain (files included);
- your blocks, in both directions;
- your reports, in both directions;
- your push notification subscriptions;
- any photo awaiting human review (profile photo moderation, certification), file included;
- your sessions (immediate logout from all devices).
Conversations with other members
Deletion removes the entire conversations you shared: they also disappear for the people you talked to. The other data of those people (their account, their profile, their other conversations) is not affected.
Backups and legal obligations
Technical copies may remain temporarily in the service backups: they are purged at the latest 30 days after their creation.
Reports and technical logs are kept only for the time needed to handle them and to comply with legal obligations (at most 12 months), then deleted — never beyond the applicable legal periods (publisher decision 2026-07-04: ‘the legal retention period, no more’).
If your account had been permanently suspended, the irreversible fingerprints (hashes) of the phone number and email address kept to prevent re-registration SURVIVE deletion: deleting your account never lifts an exclusion. These are never the values in clear text.
In the event of unavailability
If deletion is momentarily unavailable, it is refused explicitly and NO data is partially erased: the account stays intact and you can try again. In the event of a persistent blockage, contact support (Contact page).
