Safety and privacy on Baza

A dating app for adults handles some of the most sensitive data there is: intimate preferences, location, photos, conversations. Here, concretely, is how Baza protects them.

Real accounts, adults only

Every account is verified by phone (SMS code) and protected by a password — never stored in clear text. The service is strictly reserved for adults: any profile suspected of belonging to a minor can be reported and is handled as a priority.

Your location, protected by design

Location sharing is explicitly consented and reversible: withdrawing consent erases the position. Other members only see a rounded distance (to the nearest 100 metres) — never an address, never coordinates, never a point on a map.

Genuinely private correspondence

Your private messages — text and photos — are never read, analysed or moderated automatically. The confidentiality of correspondence is an absolute rule at Baza.

Only the PROFILE photo, which is public inside the app, is checked before publication (no nudity and no explicit content on public photos). Photos exchanged in private are compressed and stripped of their location metadata — they go through no analysis tool whatsoever.

Blocking and reporting, immediate remedies

Blocking is symmetrical: if you block a profile, neither of you can see the other any more, and they can no longer write to you. Reporting offers precise reasons — inappropriate content, harassment, fake profile, suspected minor — and every report is kept and handled.

Standards for public content

Baza is a dating app for adults, but its public surfaces show no sexually explicit content. Public profile photos and descriptions must remain restrained, lawful and compatible with app store rules.

Refused or removed: nudity or a sexual act on a public photo, sexually explicit terms in a public description, prostitution, harassment, impersonation, exploitation, and any content involving — or appearing to involve — a minor.

Your data belongs to you

Baza collects the bare minimum: no real name required, no postal address, no identity document at sign-up. The data is hosted in the European Union.

Deleting your account erases all of your data — profile, photos, location, conversations, blocks, reports — completely, in accordance with the GDPR. The details are set out in our privacy policy and on our account deletion page.
