How does Baza work?
Baza is deliberately simple: a verified account, a plain profile, nearby profiles and private messaging. Here is the journey, step by step, exactly as it really works.
1. Create a verified account
Signing up requires a phone number, an email address and a password. The phone number is verified by a code received by SMS: this is what guarantees real accounts and limits abuse.
You then sign in with your phone number or your email, and your password. The service is strictly reserved for adults.
2. Build a plain profile
Woman, man or couple — a couple always shows two separate ages (Her and Him). Add a short introduction and up to three dating preferences chosen from a clear list.
Your profile photo is checked before it is published: no nudity and no explicit content on public photos. This filter applies only to the profile photo, never to your private conversations.
3. Turn on proximity — if you want to
Location sharing is a choice, never an obligation. If you turn it on, nearby profiles appear sorted by approximate distance, rounded to the nearest 100 metres: nobody ever sees your exact position, or any address at all.
Withdrawing your consent erases your location immediately. A discreet mode also lets you hide your location while carrying on chatting.
4. Chat in private
The messenger works like a modern messaging app: one-to-one conversations, unread messages clearly visible, photos you can exchange in private.
Your private conversations are never read or moderated automatically — neither text nor photos. This is a fundamental privacy rule, the same one that protects any private correspondence.
5. Stay in control
At any time: block a profile (blocking is symmetrical — neither of you can see the other any more), report a behaviour by choosing a precise reason, or delete your account.
Deleting your account erases all of your data: profile, photos, location, conversations, blocks and reports — in accordance with the GDPR.
