Child protection and the fight against child exploitation

An absolute prohibition

Baza applies zero tolerance towards content and behaviour involving the sexual exploitation or abuse of minors (CSAE, child sexual abuse and exploitation). The following are strictly forbidden, without exception: the presence of minors on the service, any content involving or appearing to involve a minor, and any attempt to contact a minor for sexual purposes.

• Service reserved for adults aged 18 and over.
• No image of nudity or of a sexual act is allowed on the public surfaces.
• Any content involving, or appearing to involve, a minor is removed and reported.

Prevention and verification

Creating an account requires a phone number verified by SMS code, which limits automated accounts and fraudulent sign-ups. Every public profile photo is checked before publication: neither nudity nor sexually explicit content is accepted, and a human review takes place in case of doubt, in particular where content could involve a minor.

Public descriptions are subject to the same standards: sexually explicit terms are refused there. These checks apply only to the public surfaces; private correspondence is never analysed, in keeping with the confidentiality of exchanges.

Reporting

Every member can report a profile, a message or a piece of content directly in the app, by choosing a precise reason — including “suspected minor”. Reports linked to a suspected minor are handled as a priority.

Anyone, member or not, can also alert us by email at bonjour@baza.fr. Reports concerning the exploitation of a minor are examined without delay.

Handling and cooperation

Content suspected of involving the exploitation of a minor is removed immediately, the account concerned is suspended, and the item is kept securely for as long as is necessary to handle it. Baza cooperates with the competent authorities in accordance with applicable law.
