Geolocated dating for adults, without exposing your address

Closeness changes everything in dating: a profile ten minutes from home is not the same as a profile two hours' drive away. But location is sensitive data — and Baza treats it as such.

Explicit consent, always reversible

Your position is only recorded if you explicitly turn it on. You can withdraw that consent at any time: your position is then erased, not merely hidden.

Without location sharing, the app does not cheat: it never displays false distances or false “nearby” profiles.

A rounded distance, never coordinates

What other members see is an approximate distance, rounded to the nearest 100 metres. Never an address, never a point on a map, never exact coordinates.

This rounding is applied on the server side, systematically: it protects against triangulation and is one of Baza's design rules, not an option.

Discreet mode

Want to be there without being locatable? Discreet mode hides your position completely: you appear in a separate section, with no distance shown, and you carry on chatting as usual.

Sorted by distance, quite simply

Located profiles are sorted by increasing distance — an offline profile 300 metres away appears before an online profile 400 metres away. Presence status is displayed, but never distorts the order.

Ready to meet people near you?

Baza is a web app: nothing to download from a store, and an account takes a few minutes to create. Your exact location is never shown and your conversations stay private.
